Research shows that everyone is at risk of getting addicted, but it depends on their circumstances. It can depend on whether you’re going through a tough or boring point in life. Other possibilities can include: your social life, culture, family, living environment and your tolerance to stress. All of these can contribute to the addiction of a number of things. Such as: drugs, alcohol, sex or video games. Personalities have different requirements to satisfy emotions, such as you may watch TV or go fishing for relaxation; you may excise for stress relief, you even might watch a sad movie or read a sad story for a good cry. But of course we all need pleasure of some sort, that’s where other various problems can arise; but it's also where video game addiction can take hold too. Gamers play video games for pleasure, if played too much; it can go beyond fun and entertainment. If you let it escalate to extreme levels, it can and will dominate your life.
